Beijing Golf Courses

Beijing and its surrounding regions stand as one of China’s most developed golf destinations, boasting a dense cluster of high-quality courses with diverse styles, world-class designs, and complete supporting facilities. The golfing season typically runs from May to November, offering ideal weather for play. There are over 30 standard 18-hole golf courses in Beijing and the surrounding areas (Hebei, Tianjin). Most are concentrated in suburban districts like Shunyi, Changping, Huairou, and Fangshan, as well as nearby satellite cities. Primarily championship-level 18-hole courses (par 72), with some 27-hole or 45-hole resort-style complexes. Designs blend links, parkland, mountain, and lake styles. Many courses are crafted by globally renowned architects, including Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, and Brit Stenson.
