Job responsibilities
1. Establish a health management system for pig farms, formulate various rules, regulations, processes, and standards;
2. Develop annual epidemic prevention and control plans, pig immunization programs, and medication technology guidance plans, and supervise their implementation;
3. Monitor the health status of various pig herds, prevent disease occurrence based on the epidemic situation, and take relevant prevention and control measures;
4. Carry out pig farm inspections, identify problems on site and track the implementation of solutions to ensure the health of the pig herd;
5. Responsible for tracking pig herd immunity, medication effectiveness, and pig herd testing results, forming reports and reporting;
6. Assist in developing procurement plans for vaccines, veterinary drugs, and other related products.
Requirement
1. Full time undergraduate degree or above; Basic veterinary medicine, preventive veterinary medicine, animal medicine/science and other related majors are preferred;
2. Having at least 3 years of experience in veterinary management, with experience in epidemic prevention management, pig health management, major disease prevention and control, and farm services in large pig farming companies is preferred;
3. Familiar with the operation process of pig farms, diagnosing pig diseases, directly leading the establishment of a new project veterinary system, and directly leading the disposal of diseases such as non plague, PED, blue ear, etc., obtaining a practicing veterinary qualification certificate.
4. Proficient in the pig production process, grasp the health status of the pig herd, and promptly propose disease prevention plans and early warning and disposal of pig diseases;
5. Proficient in the prevention and veterinary theory of microorganisms, infectious diseases, and biological products, proficient in clinical practical pathology and diagnosis of common diseases, and able to mix and formulate common drugs;
6. Familiar with and understand the standards, norms, procedures, and regulations related to animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, and understand the latest domestic and international research and development trends related to the profession.
